The avian bleeding caliper is a comfortable tool that facilitates work during the slaughtering of poultry.

At one end is a spoon to hold the head while on the other there is a sharp blade.

The bird is initially stunned and then placed, upside down.

The operator has to insert the device with blade, inside the mouth while the other end rests on the head of the animal.

A light pressure is then applied that closes the pincer and the blade penetrates directly into the brain, favoring a quick bleeding.

Suitable for birds upto chicken size.
